Help Center / Commission tasks
💰 Commission tasks
Commission tasks are escrow-style collaboration: an employer pays for help finding a hire. That money freezes on the task at post time — neither side holds it — and moves to the referrer’s wallet after the hire starts and stays through the agreed period. It breaks remote work’s classic deadlock: work first or pay first.
Example: a post says “Commission task $50, pay after 30 days employed” —
when your referred hire completes one month, $50 credits your wallet.
That $50 was already frozen from the employer at publish time.
Who should take these
- You know good candidates and can introduce them
- You will follow through to onboarding and wait for the payout window
- You are HR, a community lead, or an industry connector who already matches people and roles
Full flow
- Read the post: amount and “employed for N days before pay” are written clearly
- Apply: tap “Apply for commission task” and explain your referral plan
- Approve & sign: after approval, both sides sign; the hold locks
- Progress: refer, interview, onboard — contacts via apply-to-connect
- Register hire: both confirm hire under “My applications”; disputes and waits use that record
- Payout: after confirmed hire and the agreed days, request payout; funds credit your wallet
How money is held
- Publishing freezes deposit by commission amount; higher tiers may use waiver quota
- Freeze is not a spend — funds stay in the poster’s account, untouchable until conditions clear
- One post can sign with multiple people (capped); they share the same hold
- Staged payouts list “how many parts / total” clearly
Cancel & refund
- Cancel usually needs both parties; one side may refuse with reasons
- If the other side goes silent after a cancel request, rules allow forced cancel and refund
- Deleting a post ≠ instant refund: content can go down immediately; holds unfreeze only when conditions are met — often ~3 days after publish with no locked deals
- Failed review or publish restores holds and waiver quota immediately
When you disagree
- Ask staff to step in; both sides explain; the platform issues a conclusion
- If the fight is about wages (work done, unpaid), use the fuller path: evidence, member votes, payout from company deposit — see company deposits & wage safeguards
- Either way, keep chat logs and a timeline
Ways to succeed more often
- Say how you will find people and roughly when — better than “I can do it”
- Put extras in channel comments so both sides (and later readers) can see them
- On long payout cycles, sync progress mid-way
About prices: amounts here are common references; the platform may adjust.
